My family has sent me religious propaganda over the years despite me asking them not to. One of those things was an email with a link to a sermon by my older sister, Cassie, and her husband, Grant. Cassie went to Bible college, I did not. She gleefully accepts everything in the Bible (and then some), while I do not. We no longer keep in contact because I don’t want to associate with anyone who intentionally manipulates and exploits vulnerable people. Christians often talk in certainties, yet their beliefs are wholly based on faith and personal interpretation. So, to cope with the pain and frustration of that situation, I decided to find the humor in it and to hopefully point out some of religious people’s flawed logic.
