Editor’s note: Jay-Z is on notice for his shameless participation in the 2026 Jeff Bezos Met Gala, after spending his early years heavily marketing himself (aka pretending) to look like a sort of underdog man of the streets in order to sell millions of albums and tickets. In recent years, he’s presented an image of helping black, underprivileged communities on issues of social justice and economic opportunity. Yet an endorsement of Bezos is an endorsement of Trump which is an endorsement of heinous exploitation and manipulation. He gets a KATO FRANK rating of FAF: fake as fuck.
